Betrayal After School

Kenneth could not sit still in his final class today. Slam Poetry after school! The club he had created last year was being continued!  The teacher finally dismissed the class, and Kenneth hustled to C23.

The room was empty. Where was everyone? The sky blackened. He sank to his knees. And with inhuman abandon, wept.

[SEQUEL] Mr. Humphrey Saves the Day

Katrina approached C23. A dark figure lay prone on the ground. As she drew near, the image coalesced. Kenneth, her Slam Poetry club-mate!

“What’s wrong, Kenneth?” she asked. Then she noticed the locked room behind him. (Censored!)
-Wait! The creative writing club! She hauled Kenneth next door, where Mr. Humphrey accepted them with open arms.
